At 2: 46 a.m. on January 13, a Boeing 747 - 400 full cargo plane set sail smoothly from Wuhan Tianhe International Airport, marking the formal normalization of Wuhan - Luxembourg cargo flight, Wuhan Airport's third intercontinental full cargo route.
The Wuhan - Luxembourg air route is operated by Wuhan base airline friends and Dao tong company. the newly introduced Boeing 747 - 400 large-scale all-cargo aircraft will be used to fly with a full load of about 110 tons. it will make one round trip every Tuesday, Thursday and July, and will further increase the flight schedule in the later period. The opening of this route will play a positive role in promoting economic and trade exchanges between Hubei and Europe, promoting the upgrading of local economic industries, especially the development of cross-border e-commerce business in Hubei.
In recent years, the provincial and municipal governments have attached great importance to the construction of Wuhan aviation ports and the development of international aviation logistics, instructing relevant departments and port units to continuously improve and enhance logistics efficiency and customs clearance environment. In response, the airport group has seized the opportunity to join with a large number of aviation and logistics enterprises, including Youhe Daotong, to increase the introduction of airline flights and speed up the construction of Wuhan's aviation logistics hub. At present, Wuhan Airport has opened and stably operated international all-cargo flights to Chicago in the United States, Incheon in South Korea, Liege in Belgium and Luxembourg. With the addition of belly cabins from Wuhan to Paris, Rome, Tokyo and other places, it can provide tens of thousands of tons of air transport capacity per month, greatly improving the guarantee capacity of import and export demand in Hubei and the whole central region.
In the next step, the Airport Group will also cooperate more closely with Youhe Daotong Company. With the help of Youhe Daotong's expanding fleet size and logistics integration strength, it will open up more excellent freight routes in the markets along the " the belt and road initiative" route, especially in Southeast Asia, and help Wuhan Airport to speed up the construction of a central international gateway hub.
